This was our first time trying Daniel's Broiler, and i must say, it was an awesome experience. We came here on our anniversary. We forgot to make a reservation ahead of time, and thankfully, we called earlier that day, and they were able to add us in. The representative we spoke to was nice and professional. When we got there, we were able to find parking. We were greeted with a "Good evening" from a nice gentleman in the front. Told him we had a reservation, and we were then directed to a great seat overlooking Lake Washington and Bellevue. Our server Michael was nice, and after he asked us if this was our first time, he then proceeded to tell us about the USDA Prime steaks they offered and suggested good pairings with it. We ordered the Bacon-wrapped Scallops in Crostini and Fried Calamari for appetizers. The Calamari was delicious, along with the cocktail sauce and Lemon Aoili. The breading falls off the squid on some of them, but it was still delicious. The scallops were good. i guess I'm just used to the average sized scallops because the pieces we got were huge. i had to cut them in half to at least make them bite-sized. lol. but nonetheless, both appetizers were delicious. We then got some warm bread. the outside was a little tough for me to bite into, but it was still good warm because when it got cold, then it got really hard. Then we finally got our New York Steak and Ribeye. I ordered my New York steak well done, but it came medium well. Michael wanted to make sure if i wanted it sent back, but i didn't mind. The outside of my steak tasted a little burnt, but the inside was just perfect for me. The garlic mashed potatoes it came with were good. so smooth and creamy. I just wish there's a little more garlic in it because i barely tasted it. My boyfriend's Rib eye was cooked to his liking, and the Signature Oscar Style topping was delicious. I got a bite. π We believe it was the manager who came by a few times asking us how everything was. We got so full, but i wanted to cleanse my palate, so i asked Michael what kind of desserts they have, and because we are celebrating pur anniversary, they gave us a complimentary Coconut Fudge sundae. We are not a huge fan of anything coconut, but i honestly enjoyed it. The fudge was so good with the coconut ice cream. π Our bill came as expected, and for the price we paid, to the service we received and overall experience, i believed it was worth every penny. We're already planning future get togethers here. π Thank you for the hospitality, Daniel's Broiler. We'll see you again soon.
Incredible food and views. Our first A5 filet experience, and we want more! π Don't miss the crispy artichoke hearts! Our server, Jordan, was extremely knowledgeable and key to a successful event for us. We hope to be back next time we are in town!
I parked on the street. We came in for a day date for lunch! I believe they open at noon and we came in around 1:30 on a Saturday. Our service was absolutely perfect. Our server was very attentive and responsive. Weβll definitely come back for a date night. We had popcorn shrimp, scallops, calamari, salad and a big juicy burger. The views were spectacular.
Amazing experience I love the view of the water and the classy upscale decor. Drinks and food were lovely.
I didn't like the garlic mashed potatoes they were a bit dry and I much prefer a smooth buttery puree style potato with high end steak. The creme brulee was a bit bland.
I loved the Daniels cut filet and the lobster bisque and the butter cake was all spectacular.
Ordered the ribeye, filet mignon, lobster bisque and mushrooms. The lobster bisque was really salty even when paired with the bread but it had good chunks of lobster and good flavour. The filet mignon was very dry and tasted like eating cardboard. The ribeye was fine, nothing special. Sides were mediocre too. Our waiter was very friendly. Overall not worth the price. There was a 20% service charge that did not go to the waiter and we tipped on top too.
Steak was good, after I scraped away all the blackened burnt off it. My baked potato had black burn spots in it. They had Good Service, waiter very good. Food too pricey for what you get. If they take away the blackened would have been perfect but tasted too burnt. Just donβt think it was worth what I paid.
Daniels Broiler is always a treat! We stopped by for a family birthday at the Leschi location. Atmosphere is Great! Dim lighting, beautiful view, intimate setting. (This was on a Sunday night)
Great spot for a date or romantic dinner! (Steak Strips are my go to everytime!) Service was good.. but the view was spectacular! (Wish it was a sunny day but thats the PNW)
Highly recommend you try this place at least once! Bill can get hefty but worth it in my opinion!
Had Christmas Eve dinner at the Leschi location. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent! All of the staff (including Franklin, Griffin, and Kevin) were top notch and very gracious and attentive. This location will be will be on our list for go-to dining going forward.
